We are testing a new way for MyFootballClub members to keep up-to-date and communicate

Listen to the show

Take part by sending your question to the host. When the ‘Play’ button is visible the show is live, to listen simply click play.

An envelope will appear and will let you send instant messages/ questions directly to the show host to answer live on air.

If a TV button is displayed then the show also has live video, simply click the TV button to watch.

If you have a headset you can download and run Loober free on your pc or mac. You then connect to the MyFootballClub room and get chatting.

You can also call into the show on  0870 175 0108 if you don’t have pc/mac or headset.

The Details

The software is available for PC and MAC and in English, Spanish, French, Arabic and Chinese versions. (No spyware guaranteed!)

There is no need to register, but please update your name to your MyFootballClub name so other members can find you when they click the search (magnifying glass) button. You can load your own image if you want or select from the avatars available.

The system will automatically connect you to other MyFootballClub members when you run it. You can set up your room so that others are muted when they arrive. The default setting is 'push spacebar to talk', but you can change this in 'Room' > 'Volume' so you can be heard all the time. Mouse click on others to mute them; right click to block.

Record an 'About me' message; this is your profile and is what others hear when you are off-line - they can leave voicemail for you as long as your computer is on and the software is running (in the systray).

The buddies list lets you add your friends - you'll be notified when they are available.

For the technically minded, the system works on a peer to peer basis so will link MyFootballClub member together using just the processing power on your computers and your internet bandwidth. The more folk you have in your room the more audio compression we use. The signal strength indicator will show you if things are getting wobbly. Host your own show!

The plan is to use this service to run live and interactive talkshows; hosted by MyFootballClub members and including contributions from players, staff etc. You'll be able to speak to those that matter. The resulting shows will be available for podcasting.

Another feature allows MyFootballClub members to host their own ad-hoc shows and broadcast live via their MyFootballClub profile using this flash widget. (You have to download an mp3 encoder to do this; instructions are hopefully clear enough).
